(Vanguard) An angry female bank manager identified as Blessing Okpoko, has been arrested alongside 12 suspected thugs, including three Air force officers, she paid to bring down her estranged husband's furniture company located at Ajao Estate area of Lagos State.
Blessing
who has been arraigned before an Isolo Magistrates’ Court, allegedly
mobilised the miscreants to demolish her husband, Ifeanyi's factory, tearing down the factory while the hoodlums made away with property and an undisclosed sum of money.
According
to reports, Ifeanyi and Blessing had been at loggerheads over issues of
infidelity and adultery, for quite sometime and she had dragged him to a
Lagos High Court seeking for the annulment of their 13-year-old
marriage that had produced three daughters.
She
also urged the court to share the property they acquired while they were
married but while the case is still pending, she decided to take the
laws into her hands and led the gang to demolish the factory known as
Multicraft Interior located at 14, Alhaji Lukeman Atobajeun Street, Ajao
Estate, with property worth millions of naira destroyed during the
illegal demolition exercise.
It was while the
demolition was going on that Ifeanyi contacted the police who swooped on
the scene and arrested her and her gang, but by then, the damage had
been done.
But the bitter bank manager, however,
told the court that the land on which the factory was located belonged
to her as she had genuine papers and demolition documents obtained from
the state government, to show that she was the true owner of the land.
